I would think a very low temp (for an oven), would be sufficient to help the coat cure, without melting any associated plastic on the shoe. But each oven, (and for that matter, each type of shoe) can be different, so I would be wary of trying that without careful monitoring. That's why I did the sunny, warm window instead of the oven, even though it took longer than a buddy who did the oven method. But you can never go wrong with following the specific instructions. To quote most commercials: "Read and follow all label directions."
