I would add to the "list" to the newbies that they are part of the offical's team. No coaching, no complaining about calls, no snide remarks, no moaning and groaning. I have been at the table and heard parent scorekeepers doing all of the above. The ref had to come over and tell them to stop and to be neutral. As a MS tourney director I am tempted to post this reminder at the table because so many people are doing this job during the two days.

Go ahead and fall to the temptation, Jim. As an official, I'd love to see this reminder at the table in stuff like this. AAU directors take note.
