Pentagon Air-Pac Shoe

I know there are several threads devoted to shoe discussion in general, but I am looking for opinions on a specific shoe. Last year several retailers sold-out of the Pentagon Air-Pac Referee shoe, but I have yet to see any opinions surface on this forum. Surely, a couple of members own these shoes and could provide a review.

I've never owned them, and please don't call me Shirley.

So, does anyone here like gladiator movies?

Um, anyway, I know a couple of people that have these shoes, and they have no complaints. I do not personally own them, so I can't give you any more info than that.

I can't imagine why they chose the pentagon as their name/logo. Every time I see them, I wonder when Chrysler began manufacturing other forms of transportation.

In my "real" job I am a professional pilot. I was hoping somebody would find my humor.

Just so I'm clear on the rules, I can post "Don't call me Shirley", with an accompanying picture in reference to the original poster's use of the word "surely". But I can't poke fun at a former poster by using another non-vulgar line (which follows "Do you like gladiator movies?") from the same movie?!?!?!

Are we trying to remove every last stitch and semblance of fun from this freaking forum? I'm honestly aghast and deeply saddened at the same time.

Several posts (not just yours) were removed because it was quickly deteriorating into a "let's quote the whole effin movie and all others of that genre" thread.

Yours (and at least one other, iirc) were also left becuase they at least addressed the question (not that this is a "rule" or provides an "out" for OT postings) . I suppose I could have / should have edited / deleted them.

Dont let rgncjn fool ya, he cant get a paper airplane off the ground. Im still trying to get him to fly me to a game someday.

On topic, a buddy of mine that I work with quite frequently bought a pair last year. He seemed to like them. He had the patent leather ones, and I think they look a lot better than the patent leather Reebok "Refs."

I fly a mixed fleet. I instruct in single-engine aircraft, yet get paid the chump-change to fly a Boeing 737 for an FAA Part 121 air carrier.

I have a pair

Purchased them at the beginning of last season. Patent leather version. Love them so much I bought the football/basball version for this fall's football season.

Replaced a pair of Reeboks with the Pentagons. Reeboks were uncomfortable at best. The Pentagons have plenty of cushioning and as said in earlier post, look great.
