I used a suitcase when I was in Iowa. After being the only guy with a suitcase, it seems, out in the nether regions of Colorado, I went back to my duffle. I'll start with the suitcase here, but have no desire to stick out yet.

Here in Oregon, whatever type of bag we use better be water repellent. Oh yeah - and fit on the back of a bicycle.

As far as stuff moving around and staying wrinkle free, I found these work real well...

Link: Packing folders

I have a couple, one for my shirts and one for my pants.

Fed refs bring shoulder bags to Fed games and use Fed mechanics.
CCA refs bring wheeled bags to Fed games and use CCA mechanics.

I bring my gear in a hefty trash bag and don't actually use mechanics. What does that make me?

We've go some tranfers on our local board that come dressed in uniform for a high school game, don't shower, and just walk out of the gym to the parking lot after the game.

I prefer a garment bag. My uniform comes out with less wrinkles.

I use a roller suitcase. I have 2 clothing folders in my bag. 1 for pants (2 pair) and 1 for shirts (with & without flags and regular and side panel shirts). I have my jacket in a protective bag. The only thing loose is my sox and under garments. Whistles/lanyards in a small pouch. Everything stays neat.

Nah, I've dropped 30 pounds over the summer. In fact, I don't think I'll need the 40 gallon lawn bags this year.

That is funny, but very much the truth!

I'm still going with the Bag on wheels, way too much stuff to carry!
