My mom was a nurse for years and at the hospital where she worked, they really did have metric clocks. 100 seconds in a minute and 100 minutes in an hour. (They thoughtfully left the 24 hour system intact.) So if you left work at 4:45 in the afternoon, your timecard would say "1675". Very strange, but she didn't seem to have any problems with it.
