NFHS Exam Online

How is your associtian dealing with this? How do your non computer savy officials take the test if they dont have computer access? We will be running into this problem in our area this year.

Find a friend with a computer or go to the library. This is what we are told in regards to postseason availability. Right now our Part I can still sent in; however, this year Part II is going to be online only.

Find a friend with a computer or go to the library. There's no reason anyone shouldn't be able to access a computer. We went to online testing last year and didn't have any problems.

Surprisingly enough, our association hasn't had a problem with this. It seems like people either have access at work or they are going to a library.

_____________

Yes it is, but I'm hearing a lot of guys don't like it and they are thinking about offering the site options again. Don't know if that is right for sure, but that's what I've heard.

You are always going to have people that complain about something. That is what people do when they are unwilling for change or they like what once was. There were people complaining about having to drive to take an exam on a specific day. Now there are people complaining because someone can do something at home or work without spending extra gas. You will never make everyone happy.

Peace

Experience?

Anyone taken the online exam yet?

Our Association is going to it this year for the first time. As is stated in this thread, it doesn't appear access will be an issue for anyone.

I have read the instructions and it looks pretty straight forward - I like the fact that you can mark questions you want to go back and review when your through before submitting.

Question - Is there a time limit? I've heard the two hour rule discussed (as was previously done with the hard copy exam), but know with the online exam you can stop, save, and come back later. I didn't see a time limit discussed in the read ahead. Anyone know for sure? Thanks.

Our association is using the schools computer lab on the first sunday when it's available! Works out great!

Yes, I took it last week and didn't have any problems.

For Part I, our state doesn't have a time limit. However, we have to submit it by a certain date. This year for Illinois I believe is November 20th.

Our Association offered a similar solution, but no one seemed to need it.

You're right. That's how I felt when they did away with the peach baskets.

I'm a VA official also. I set up my account yesterday with no problem. A couple of friends who took the football and/or volleyball exam this Fall had a couple of suggestions when doing the exam - 1) you should flag any question that you aren't completely sure of, and 2) DONT FORGET TO HIT "SAVE" not SUBMIT when leaving with an intent to return to finish the exam.

Is this the same Part I exam we would normally get? Are the questions in random order?
