Well, Drake spilled the beans when I got the word that I was going to work the USBL, so now it's my turn. I have just been informed that Drake has been accepted to work the WNBA this season!! Congrats, Drake, and good luck.

Chuck

Rocky,
From what I can remember from previous posts,
you're far from peon status.

Is it true that WNBA stands for "We Never Buy Athletic supporters"?

Wow! Congratulations to both of you guys (I don't know if I ever said anything about Chuck and USBL).

Now the question remains, who will be the first of our posters to work the NBA?

Great job, Drake.

Now if Chicago would get a team, I could get free tickets.

Washington has a team, but WNBA games are during the summer, so I'll be back home in the boondocks.

Of course, if I stay in D.C. over the summer, I could go see you work, right ?? (Actually, I am considering applying to work NBA/WNBA games at the MCI Center - probably a long shot, but maybe we'll both be working WNBA.)

Drake --

Oh, my gosh!! If you get a game in Portland, BE SURE AND LET ME KNOW. (I don't know how mick does those big letters).

We have season tickets, and I'll definitely want to see you work. I'll even say nice things on the board afterwards!
