Tell us what you learned at the meeting. Are the rule changes published by the IHSAA real or is it a bad Indiana basketball joke?

I quickly talked to a couple of guys that went to Buffalo. They said that the rule changes from the Indiana site were legitimate.Of course, knowing these guys, they probably concentrated on the chicken wings and brownpop a liitle more than the advancement of rules knowledge.Maybe Mark can give us more info.If not,I'll be talking to one of the guys later on in the week.

The rules changes that were posted on Officiating.com and the IndianaHSAA website are in the pipeline. But the NFHS has not officially approved any of the changes that have been posted on either of the two websites that I referenced. When the NFHS formallya approved the rules changes, it will issue a press release. Before I came to the Basketball Forum I checked the NFHS website and no press release had been issued yet. The rules changes that we have seen on the web are not official nor have they been approved by the NFHS yet.

OK Mark, when do they approve or vote on possible changes?
