NFHS Pubs in PDF Online

I just noticed that NFHS has now posted rulebooks and casebooks online on their website.

It appears as if it's the 2007-2008 books, and they were put there in PDF Format approximately the first week of March -- a little late for many sports. (I only checked Basketball and Football.)

I hope they do this for next year's publications PRIOR to the season. Would love to be able to keep them all on my Motorola Q.

All I could find was this:

This should get you there:

You do have to be a member, but if your state is like mine, once you're a certified official, you're automatically enrolled as a member with NFHS.

Access Denied. You must be logged in and be a member of an NFHS Professional Association or state staff member.

:(

Hmmmmm. I'm not a state staff memeber, nor do I believe that I am a memeber of an NFHS Professional Association, unless our state governing body is considered such.

I think they should put their rulebooks on line in Word format so I can change the rules I think need changing in the version of the books I take to games. That way I can show a coach that it's actually in the rulebook that he has to coach from the parking lot. :)

You can do it also from the PDF, it's only slightly more difficult. :)

Ciao

Has anyone else had any success in trying to access these files online?

Back In The Saddle Mon Jun 09, 2008 02:11pm

Yes. But as part of my state association membership I also receive NFHS association membership. That allows me to log in and get those files.

Is it in conflict to post those files online elsewhere?

Just asking...

I can access them; but I am a member. Once you have accessed the PDFs you can save them. What you do with them after that would be at your discretion. Seems sharing them would be no different than a buddy giving you his last years books.

I am waiting to see what they do with the current rules. Previously you could only access them through member content online with no download option. But you could copy and paste.......
