Just had similar Varsity boys game myself. Knew going in that it was a great rivalry. In our pregame we talked about calling it tight to start with. Game was ugly from start, visitors jumped on top 22-4 by end of first quarter. Kept calling fouls, found out in today's box score we shot 76 freethrows. Sometimes players just don't want to give us a chance to let them have a game. Like you I thought we did a good job. Just one of those games you hope you don't have too many times a season. Have let it go, can't wait for next game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
