Saw these all in one rec. game last night( 5th graders ). Don't have NF rules or case book with me to check and couldn't find similar posts on a search. What are the correct calls?
1. A1 inbounds under pressure. Throws ball long. Ball bounces inbounds then OOB. No other player touches it.
2. Same as first one but ball never bounces inbounds.
3. A1 inbounds under pressure. Throws ball off of B1's foot. Not an intentional kick by B1. Ball comes right back to A1 who catches it while still OOB. A1 never moved.
Thanks,
EG

All three have the same answer. Team B gets the ball at the Team A throw in spot.

Okay, variation on #3. Saw this the other day, coach yelled about it, I had to stop and think. A1 inbounds under pressure, ball is tipped by B1, ball bounces OOB before A1 grabs it. I said it had OOB status (becase of the bounce) before A1 touched it, so A1 got another try. Correct?

Once the ball is OOB on B1 the play is dead, regardless
of what A1 does, so you are correct (you knew this all
along of course! ).

I did know it, but the last time I was sure I was right, I wasn't, so I'm just checking...

Come on Juulie...don't start second-guessing yourself on every play now...you had a bad experience, but it's in the past so move on and keep calling things the way you have been...you're too good to start the second-guessing routine!!

I was watching this game from the stands, and the officials did indeed get it right and give the ball to team B. I was pretty sure the first two were correct but uncertain about the third.
Thanks for the input,
EG
