Hanson has two daughters and one son. His son, Christian, is a centre at The University of Notre Dame. He currently resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and manages a sports center at Robert Morris University.

Up here in the U P of Michigan, I saw the Hanson brothers come up and play hockey in Calumet. They played for the Marquette Iron Rangers. I can't remember who won but it was fun to watch them play semi pro hockey.

I hope that there are no movie producers reading. We already had a semi pro basketball movie.

Then again, anything hockey is a good thing... a hockey movie would be nice. I think the last one I saw was "Mystery, Alaska". That was a good flick.
