Speaking of Ivy Leaguers...

A Canadian girl, Melissa Colborne - from just outside Calgary, about three hours south of where I live - is making waves.

Her dad is a big dude in the oil and gas sector - family has a huge acerage, complete with a gymnasium. Her older and younger sisters are both players - youngest is only in grade eleven and is averaging over 30 points a game - just led her team to a provincial championship.

I reffed Colborne a couple times - good player, and MEAN as a snake.

Dad is typical howler monkey fanboy - absolutely clueless about the rules. :p

At UC Irvine, are the women's teams called "Lady Anteaters" or just "Uncle-eaters"?

Rather than getting booted from the forum I'll keep to myself what these ladies may or may not have been eating.
