Your first and only post so far is to tell one of our most respected and intelligent members to "shut up?"
And you don't even have a silly Chinese shoes website in your sig line. Edit: I get it now.... you must be a more respected member who just registered under a different, and new, name.

Hey, T&A, are you one of them Texas Ranger fans?
And, Chuck, don't forget to mention one of my Cubbies, Geo Soto, won ROY. To me though, it was surprising Sabbathia didn't win the Cy Young, given his record down the stretch. I wonder if it hurt him in the voting changing leagues in the middle of the season. And, it looks like my Cubbies might be the first team to play in the new Yankee Stadium. Talk about possible curses...

Ah yes, the Cubsters. I see that Ryan Dempster just signed a 4-year contract...and immediately went on the Kerry Wood Memorial 1461 day(including Leap Year) Disabled List. Btw, do you know how to make a Hormone? |

Coco Crispies ...
From one year ago, up to, and including the early part of the season, I was hoping that the Theo Epstein would trade Coco Crisp to free up some money for a starting pitcher to replace Curt Schilling in the rotation. I now admit that I was wrong. He was a great backup outfielder, never complained about playing time, was able to fill in with the many Red Sox injuries, and was able to fill a spot when Jacoby Ellsbury went into his sophomore slump. Thank God they kept him. Now they got a pretty good pitcher for him. Good luck to Coco in Kansas City, except when they play the Red Sox.

Control over the Yankees organization passes to George Steinbrenner's youngest son, Hal. Hank says he's ok with it. Anybody want to bet otherwise?
![]() Mussina retires with 270 wins. Any consideration for the Hall of Fame? He's just a little short of the "magic" number. Does he have a shot?
