From Wickipedia: Wrigley Field "was built in 1914 as Weeghman Park for the Chicago Federal League baseball team, the Chicago Whales. It was also the home of the Chicago Bears of the National Football League from 1921-1970. It was also called Cubs Park from 1920 to 1926 before finally being renamed for then Cubs team owner and chewing gum magnate William Wrigley Jr.."

So it was named after a person, long before corporations (other than the team itself) thought of naming stadiums for advertising reasons. I'm out to get rid of the corporate names, but I'm willing to allow them if they bear an actual person's name.

Psst...Chuck, I know the origins. In fact, if you remember, Doublemint Gum was made by Wrigley...

Sox follow up getting swept in Anaheim by taking 3 straight from the Mariners. The Yankees come to town tonight, but the Sox go without Manny. Jaba vs. Beckett. I think it's going to be fun!

I'm going miss the finale on Sunday, as I'll be at camp!
