Rivera born in 1922
Sonja Llorente married Aparicio in 1956.
Does that work?

In Marks imagination................

I'm pretty well versed in White Sox history and I've never heard anything about Looie's father-in-law.

I guess the White Sox announcers from that era were wrong, then. But ya' gotta admit, it's a great nickname.

Methinks the years have clouded your recollection. I can't imagine any sox announcer saying Louie was playing on the same team as his father-in-law

Would Chita be Looie's Mother-in-law?

I remember both radio announcers, Bob Elson and Don Wells, mentioning it.

I do remember the Whiteowl wallop! And....I called my cousin who still lives in Chicago and he said Rivera was Looie's uncle, not his father-in-law and their age difference wasn't that great. That's makes more sense.
