Forgot to mention that I'm off to Fenway tomorrow night to see Beckett's return to active duty. Saturday night, I'll be in D.C. to see the Nationals.

I hope you're not heading to Mississippi, are you?

Never mind.

Let us know how the new Nats stadium looks, and of course, what's the best food.

I think it's sad that people don't know how to spell Halladay's name correctly. He is a real ace and a real great ballplayer, which he has proven year after year. Why do guys like Jeter get so much attention?

Gee, let me take a shot at this one - he's handsome, appears to be a nice guy, never gets in trouble, plays hard, respects the game, has 2500 hits, pretty good fielder, well spoken, articulate, goes to the playoffs almost every yr, perennial All Star, beloved by his teammates, and he plays in a major metro area and succeeds......of course, that's JMO.

PS - I'm no Yankee Fan, but, I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Are you sure it wasn't a Halladay Inn?

And just what is wrong with Mississippi? Uh, never mind, I grew up there.

You might've missed the spammer that came through here yesterday posting some, um, interesting pictures and the title included "Mississippi". They posted to all the foums, so I'm sure the mods got a blister on their fingers from hitting the delete button so much.

Yeah, I haven't been to the site for a couple of days (work keeps getting in the way of surfing), so I guess I missed all the fun.
