I've been told the Big 12 is a flat fee of $2600 (you pay your expenses out of that) for regular season games, so I'd guess at least that much for the tournament. :D

Honestly, I have no idea if most conference tourneys pay more than for their regular season games or not...

I have been told, that officials that work post tournaments (conference, NCAA, NIT) actually take a hit pay wise from the regular season rate.

I didn't mean that I use "Nunuvyur Dambidness". That's for you guys. And yes, I am quite well known as Skippy Weaselpants. Also Paddy O'Furniture and Mike Rosoft.

For NCAAs:

Per diem: $75/day
First weekend: $800/game
Regionals: $950/game
Final Four: $1 400/game

Standby officials get paid, too:
Per diem: same
First weekend: $200/game
Regionals & Final Four: $300/game ($900 total, since one alternate is assigned for all three games at that site)

You've been told wrong.

I've heard that FEEBLE games pay in metric Euros. They're trapezoidal shaped and can be used only to buy snails for meals.
