WHAT A WEEK! GET A LOAD OF THIS ONE.
This happened two days before my other post on 2/25.
8th grade girls.
Final minutes.
Green is killing black by over 20pts.
Green is inbounding under their own basket.
Coach yells out,"Old Macdonald".
Girl with ball yells,"Break".
The girls scatter and then two drop to all fours and start barking like dogs.
The inbound pass was blocked OB by green. Redo.
They didnt do it again but I was ready to T for either:
Taunting or Travesty.
Man am I glad the season is about over.
By the way I have a chance of having that same 6th grade
boys team again on the 16th. It should be interesting because the coach yelled."I don't ever want to see you again"!

This is taunting and unsportsmanlike.

Doesn't belong in the game.

Someone can get hurt when you have someone purposely down on the floor. For example last night, I reported a foul and was backing away from the table, telling a sub ro wait til after the 1st FT to enter. A player behind me decided to tie her shoe, and down I went. No one got hurt, so it was actually pretty funny, but could have been ugly had I fallen on her.

Maybe I'm off base here, but perhaps this was a distraction ploy. The defenders would stop and look at the woofers, leaving their girl to race wide open away from them. Doing it in a close game to possibly score a winning hoop,OK. But in a game that's over on the board and the clock, kinda bush league.

Saw a play like this on Funniest Home Videos a few years ago. Obviously some coaches saw it too.
