I am an official(middle school and JV), but I am also a fan. In fact, I am first an foremost an Alabama Basketball fan. I am the President of our basketball student group and with our close proximity to the court, I have gotten to be on a first-name basis with Doug. He is a nice guy. And while I may not agree with every call that he makes, I know he is just doing his job.

I am on this board both as a young official and as a fan, but you won't see me bashing some official for "hating Alabama" or "costing us a game."
