How can we get him off all of Ky games, he hates the Cats?????

I'll be happy to call the NCAA and tell them you want Showes prohibited from working any more Kentucky games because you say he "hates the Cats". I'm sure they'll get right on that.

And, of course, every time you work a game, the losing team is convinced you "hate them" and therefore you should never work their games again. Eventually, with logic like that, you'll run out of teams and never officiate again.

Now who can argue with that? :o

A "supposed" official calling another official a "homer" on a public forum? If he is an official, I don't think I'd turn my back on him if I ever had to work with him.

bug, I got the scoop for you. Shows was on the crew to counter-balance Anthony Jordan who, word has it, hates anything to do with the state of Tennessee. JB Caldwell was neutral in this game, he's more of a Gator-hater.

UK has a record of 30-12 in games he officiates. That is pretty comparable to your record with other officials.

Doug Shows is one of the best officials the SEC has. You need to be happy with what you get.

If you really want to be pissed at an official, be pissed at Rick Crawford. The Cats are a paltry 15-11 in games he officiates.

I am an official(middle school and JV), but I am also a fan. In fact, I am first an foremost an Alabama Basketball fan. I am the President of our basketball student group and with our close proximity to the court, I have gotten to be on a first-name basis with Doug. He is a nice guy. And while I may not agree with every call that he makes, I know he is just doing his job.

I am on this board both as a young official and as a fan, but you won't see me bashing some official for "hating Alabama" or "costing us a game."
