I thought the stories were very well written, Ron, and the same thread ran through all of them - we do this because we love the game.

Have to wonder, though, about the woman ref who hasn't given more than 10 Ts in 20 years. Gotta be something wrong there

That's what I thought! I can't go 20 minutes sometimes without 10 T's.

Just a request.

Many newspapers do not give high school sports, nor the officials, the kind of coverage that I think people want.

Certainly the press fails to give positive coverage.
