Welcome to 2008, where it's actually 50.5 cents per mile. But they pay the mileage on my drive too.

Just did a road trip to Boise. Driving faster than 85 across Northern NV just makes me uncomfortable. Though i did get a ticket about 5 years ago for going 90 outside Tonapah.

Long Trip ??

My longest round trip, from home, for a high school varsity game is about 110 miles. I've been assigned there thirteen times in twenty-seven years. Luckily, I recently changed jobs, and no longer work near my home. My home, and my previous job, was in a corner of a square shaped assignment area, with the most distant school on the diagonal corner. My new job is in the middle of this square. It's fairly easy to get to most of my games now.

If it takes you that long to go 30 miles you need to find another route.

Peace
