Blue coach: I need you to call those moving screens.
Me: *Tweet* Blue 22, bad screen.
Blue coach: I didn't want you to call that as THIS end!

"Coach, I've never met you before. I haven't had a chance to form an opinion yet. Ask me after the game."

Or, "Coach, I don't like or dislike anyone here. It keeps me out of trouble."

Unfortunately, I've only been able to use this once. A1 is posting up holding the ball in both hands in front of him. B1 reaches around from behind and knocks the ball OOB. As I go over to administer the throw in, coach A says, "Surely that was a foul." I tell him, "there was no contact, Coach - and don't call me Shirley."

Reminds me of one I had. Partner didnt show so I am calling Frosh game. Kids playing pretty good but getting a bit rough. At half time I call both coaches over and tell them both, the next swinging elbows or rough play and the player is gone... the one coach looks at me and says "why were you looking at me when you said that?" "now all the people in the stands will think there is a problem with me and my team" and begins to walk off still making a fuss... I am stunned... lol yep thats what I was thinking coach.

"Wow coach, are you serious? I haven't said a word to you and all you have done is chew me a new one...are you sure it's YOU that doesn't like ME? " :D

The next time I had this guy, he wanted a walk and is screaming "come on baby, that's a walk baby, you gotta give me that call baby". I don't acknowledge him at all. He says "you're not even gonna say yes or no to me?" to which I replied "oh sorry coach, I didn't know you were talking to me, my name isn't baby." Yeah he didn't like that :D
