Must have been some terrible officiating to allow 5 OTs!!! :D

And I believe they finished the game with 2 officials.


EDIT--One of the officials pulled a hammy in the 1st half. Wow.

Holy smokes!! Hope the official is ok.

69 fouls, 8 players fouled out. 5 OT's..Lets see that would be adding one extra half plus a 5 minute quarter!!! WOW!!! According to ESPN the last 4 OT's were done with two!

Nobody can't say they didn't earn their money on this game!!

R is going to spend most of his check buying brown pops for the crew. :D

And the smart money is on Oklahoma and Oklahoma State on Saturday. ;) That is who these two teams play next.

I was wondering about that. Saw the tape of the overtimes and was only counting two officials and wondered if there were leagues that didn't use THREE.

I just watched the last two OTs on an online stream, so I didn't even know what happened to the other official. Wow. The players looked tired, and I noticed the officials looked a little wiped by the end, too!

Amazing game. Also just wanted to take a quick second to say that what Scott Drew has done at Baylor after the horrible series of event there a couple years ago is nothing short of amazing.

No one could blame him after he scored a career-high 36 points in 53 minutes as Baylor (No. 25 AP) escaped with a 116-110 five-overtime win over Texas A&M (No. 16 ESPN/USA Today, No. 18 AP) on Wednesday night.

It was the longest game in Big 12 conference history.

Very strange....can somebody enlighten me about the last paragraph of this article:

"The game lasted so long that even one of the referees got confused. In the break before the start of the fourth overtime, a referee approached a member of the media and asked if triple overtime was about to begin. When told it was four, he shook his head and walked off.

Sounds like he just lost track of how many OTs it was.

I didn't see any notes in articles about an official going down. I caught the highlights but I was getting ready for work and didn't notice. Did they in fact work a 2 man crew? Wow, that's a long night at the office.

Doug Shows, Michael Eggers, and Rick Randall were the officials.
