Just read Ray Pierces article at Officiating.com and wonder whether he understands what Masters Games are about. The variations to FIBA rules are twofold.
1 To fit all the games into a tight schedule 2 To ensure the participants do not die on the court It is a social occasion with the games of basketball intertwined. After 2 or 3 games the oldies spend more time on the phsyio's table than the court and miss drinking time in the bar as well Anyway this is how we see it downunder. By the way the Asia Pacific Masters are on here on the Gold Coast Australia just prior to the WMG. Could be a good warmup.
