Ech year, our state high school association puts on many rules clinics at various sites around the state. This year there are plans to bring representatives from each pool to one major rules clinic put on by the state association, discuss new rules, old rules and interpretations etc. The effort here is to get more consistency within our officials organization across the state in rules application. An example: in some areas, hand checking is strictly enforced, and 100 miles away, it is much more relaxed. How do states other than Montana "spread the word" and how consistent do you feel your state is from pool to pool?

In Indiana there are numerous local associations. I belong to 3 different ones. You would be surprised at how they see things differently on some subjects. When you work with people you almost have to know which association they are with to know how to call the game. I totally agree that something needs to be done not only state wide but nationally to get everybody on the same page. But this will never happen.
