Is Team A really entitled to the ball?

Yes.

Fungo,
Since the shot is in the air before the foul by B1, we allow the points.
Now, after counting the points, we report the foul on B1; hence, Team A gets the ball for a throw-in under their own basket.
We sidetrack easily don't we? ;)

Same thing if A2 fouls B1? basket good, ball to B. Should it be at baseline with right to run on throwin?

No...remember, penalize in the order they happened!

Try was first, then foul on A1. Therefore, spot throw in for Team B.

golfdesigner,
Yes, we will permit running the endline per the following:

SITUATION #3: While A1's three-point field goal attempt is in flight, A3 fouls B1 (B is not in the bonus) near the bottom block area. The three-point field goal attempt is successful. RULING: Score the three-point goal for A1. Team B will be permitted to run the end line on the ensuing throw-in. (5-7-7 Exp (2); 7-5-7)
