Double Dribble

By the book, he did not end his dribble and start another one; however, if you pin the ball to the floor, you have ended your dribble. If you pass the ball from hand to hand, you have ended your dribble.

Some guy named zimp has adressed this issue on that other board (and I must say he did it brilliantly, albeit he made one mistake in the initial post, but corrects it later in the thread):

So, the player did double dribble.
