Talking High stress ref

I know this has been posted before, but we have quite a few newbies here so I thought I'd post it again. Actually, I'm thinking of using it as an instructional video for our local kids rec league refs.

Make sure you have your speakers on.

It clearly demonstrates the proper way for a referee to take a charge.

geez that hit had to hurt..

i dont want to make another thread because this is minor but in a game I had today two players on the same team tripped each other and fell to the floor and then started saying foul, where's the foul ref?" A player on their own team laughed at them and said you ran into each other. they won easily

Collared shirts and yellow lanyards FTW.

That's the funniest thing I've seen today. Thanks! Now to go register for the Referee's School of Refereeing!

Yabut, you better bring your A game. It's not worth much unless you graduate magna cum laude.

Better tell your local sporting goods store to stock up on yellow lanyards before you show this instructional video to your class. I think Foot Locker has plenty of collared shirts. Of course, they may have to fill out job applications to get one.
