A1 is dribbling in the frontcourt. A1 pins the ball to the floor with his right hand. A1 then rolls the ball toward his left hand. A1 then slaps the top of the ball with his left hand causing it to bounce and then continues the dribble. A1 did not move his feet during this sequence. Is there any problem calling A1 for a double dribble?
This happened in a small college game and nothing was called. The coach of B objected and the official explained that A1 did nothing to violate a rule. |
