...that reminds you why you started officiating. I have had a string of bad games, with bad players, fans, coaches, and partners. I was getting very fed up with my season and was really looking forward to my last game.

So I was scheduled to work one 8th grade game. I get there and I walk towards to locker room to dress and I see that the line to get in the gym is out the door. I find out that the game is between cross town rivals, public vs. private. The atmosphere was great, there was a band, a dance team, you could feel the electricity in the air. Bottom line, it was a great game, with good players, fans, coaches, and partner.

Now I wish my season wasn't over.
