There was a school called Tolt High School east of Seattle that the Snohomish County association used to send refs to. Most officials didn't want to make the long drive there and back, but always loved going to the school.

It was a small town, small gym, and was always full to the brim with great fans, cheerleaders, and the band. Always a blast. And they had a referee's room with a couch and TV. What more could you ask for?

Sometimes the small schools are the most fun. Tolt's gone now, they have a new school ten miles north. But it was never the same.
