You were probably feeling a little "down in the mouth" after that! :D

ARRRGGGGHHHHHH! :D

I've never had one of these "the worst possible thing that
could happen" dreams concerning basketball, although there
are some coaches who tell me it is a nightmare when I
show up on the court. I still occasionally have a dream
where it's the end of a semester & I just realize there was
a class on my schedule that I have never attended, the
final is in 20 minutes and I need it to graduate. Yuch.

Glad you liked it. Believe it or not, that joke is straight from Dick Van Dyke in the movie "Mary Poppins". (I watch it about 2 or 3 times a month, thanks to my 6 year old daughter.)

After Bert (Dick Van Dyke) tells the joke, Uncle Albert (Bert Lahr) says, "I always say there's nothing like a good joke. . . And that was nothing like a good joke!"

Chuck :)

That happened to me once. I went home to fix the problem, but the pair at home was just as bad. ;)

When she turns 35. That's also when she can start dating.

My bad dream.
Two sucky teams.
Two obnoxious coaches.
Loud obnoxious fans.
Pass from A1 to A2.
A2 bobbles ball (no control) while running and taking about 9 steps.
I have a no call since it's legal.
Coaches and fans go crazy and think I'm the crazy one.
Then I realize it's not a dream.

My Dream...

Here is my dream, blind ref lives in place w/ lots of snow. So, blind ref goes for a walk, steps on snow (everything is snow, so no biggy) then, BOOM, hits snow covered ice and takes a great fall. the sad thing is, this actaully happened!:) top that stupidity!:)

I'm adding a reply to this, just so we can all see that Dan and I are starting to recycle old material. LOL :)

How old does she have to be to see "Up In Smoke"?

Cheech and Chong? Why would she want to? Not my cup of tea.

Chuck,

We told our oldest daughter we were locking her in her room when she turned 12 and would let her out when she turned 35. Early the morning of her 12th birthday, we snuck into her room, slipped a noose around her ankles and tied it to her bed. Then we taped newspaper all across the outside of her door so she appeared to be "walled in."

She got a kick out of it! (Now she's 17, and I wish we would've made the knot tighter....)

I don't mean that I can't hit the ball very far, I just can't hit it at all. My partners are waiting for me and finally they just leave and I have to let the next group play through. Sheesh!

This is a dream? I had it happen to me last week! I don't get to play much golf. ;)

Bard, I live in Massachusetts; so if I did that, Children's Services would be knocking at my door to arrest me and put my daughter into protective custody. Unfortunately, I don't even have a joke here. It's the sad truth. :(

Certainly not a cup of tea. Possibly a plate of hash, though. ;)
