No, I'm an Oregon fan. Especially when they're winning.

I'd rather be a Beaver than a Duck,
I'd rather get run over by a truck,
I'd rather live on spam,
Or even kiss Rosanne,
I'd rather be a Beaver than a Duck!

For a Beaver is a critter that builds new habitats,
While a Duck just gets it's butt shot off by guys in dayglow hats.

I'd rather live in Corvallis than Eugene,
I'd rather spend a week in a latrine,
I don't own a water bed,
I don't like the Grateful Dead,
I'd rather be a Beaver than a Duck!

Hey - that's cool Juulie.

I know Huntsville, quite well in fact. Golf, water activities, cottaging - it's the good life!

I'm a fan of all things Oregon, and that includes Oregon State. My oldest son and his partner both graduated from OSU, and my second son will graduate from Oregon. We'll see about the youngest. But I also cheer for anyone else from Oregon whenever they are representing our fair state. My husband and I were both born here, as were all four of our parents. 3 of my 4 children were born here (My daughter was born in Indiana, but she was adopted in Oregon!), and my son's partner and my second son's girl friend were born here as were all their parents!! And my granddaughter and her father and all their parents were born here, too. We have our own little chapter of the SNOB (Society of Native Oregon Born), the Webfoot Division (born west of the Cascades). It's probably my only claim to fame.

Figures an OSU grad can't spell a simple word like "bed".

And no, I didn't go to UO.

Oregon clear up to third in the BCS. A bye week and then three relatively easy games, so Dixon can get his legs back under him. WE ARE LOOKING GOOD!!

Oregon state motto: "It's Or-A-Gin, not Or-A-Gon. It hasn't gone anywhere."

You sure didn't read that anywhere. The "official" pronunciation key is "Ory-gun" which is about right although a little exaggerated. I prefer to write it "Or-uh-gn" with the emphasis on "Or" and then slurring through the rest. Most easterners and many mid-westerners say "Ahr- gahn".

But Scrappy, didn't you know that Animal House was filmed at U of O? It's a party school alright. (Although I'm not telling my 17 yr old that. He's going there next year.)

Is that the same team that, in the same situation last year, got completely crushed by Flordida (and no, I'm NOT a Florida fan). Is the same thing about to happen again?
