Need Fed Test Q32 references

Another stupid question on part one exam NFHS.

Q32 - " A simultaneous violation is called if offensive players occupy the first marked lane spaces and defensive players occupy the second marked lane spaces during the free throw."

OK - A) True - but how can any good official even allow this to happen without doing some preventitive officiating? "hey guys - blues on the bottom"

Anyway - can anyone help me with the supporting references other than 8.4 a-f

This tells about free throw administration but says nothing about double violation.

It's not necessarily a stupid question.

Think of it in these terms - which spots are required to be filled, and which ones aren't?

I've seen it happen. Usually with newer officials. Generally in a blowout game when concentration levels drop.
