Is the penalty for a flagrant foul or intentional foul always 2 shots and the ball. Question came up where intentional foul was called while player was shooting. Ball went in. Official gave him 1 shot and the ball. He called intentional, I thought it should have been flagrant with ejection (2 hand shove in the back as kid went up for layup). That is why I am asking about both types of fouls.

always two shots and the ball unless it is a unsuccessful 3 point try. Judgement call, your partner call intentional. I would have to see the play.
