Okay, so "always" is a bit strong, and "wondered" is an overstatement.

I am wondering if his zebra shirt is also long-sleeved.

FWIW, and without looking, I'm pretty sure both the NFHS Official's Manual ('05-'07) and the '07-'08 women's college manual state that an undershirt, if worn, should be all black and should not be visible.

I started with Underarmour compression undershirts, but I now wear the McDavid v-neck sleeveless (Honig's) all the time.

The FED Manual doesn't specify any color for an undershirt.

Yeah - all three sleeves. ;)

I think the only thing they don't want you to wear is a turtle neck. I wear the V-neck McDavid and I've also started wearing the ones from Wally World, which aren't too bad.

I love the ones from wally world, but where'd you get a v-neck? Or is it a regular t-shirt material one?

As long as the moose doesn't show through the shirt, I guess that is okay.

I haven't seen those in v-neck, just crew. The ones I have that are v-neck are from McDavid.

Those inexpensive Athletic Works are good shirts. Used them for years.

Not supposed to see any undershirt. See mechanics book. However, since undershirts MUST be black, a small section at the lower part of the V neck has never been called to our attention. Just a question of professionalism to the nth degree. I just use a V neck cotton undershirt for HS games and my underarmor (crew neck) for rec ball and AAU/USSSA games.

Where may I find that in the Officials Manual?

You're making up your own rules again, without learning the ones that we already have. There are no restrictions on the color of undershirts.

Where does it say you need to wear one at all?

Stand corrected 50%. Kansas state requires black. NFHS 1.5.1c.2. "should not be visible". I will focus to see if my "book learnin' " is Kansas or NFHS based. After so many years they blur.
