Wrist brace

What is the ruling about a player wearing a removable wrist brace? I've read both the rule book and case book's stance on this. But what about a flexible removable wrist brace? There is no hard reinforcement in it. Anyone have any thoughts?

Assuming you mean one that's made of spandex (or something like that) and it's worn for a medical reason (99.9% of the time true), then it's legal.

As you probably know, the rules only prohibit hard wrist braces. There is nothing wrong with a soft wrap. As bob wrote, a compression sleeve does have to be worn for a medical reason. The NFHS clarified that shortly ago.

It was a black wrist brace with velcro straps. There was no rigid support though.
