Unhappy

This week I've come to the realization that I've picked up one of those bad habits that I hate to see in other people. I use the multiple whistle blow waaaaaayyyyyyy too often. I used to use occasionally, like when there was a held ball and the possibility for extra-curricular activity. But this week, I've noticed that I do it a lot. I do it on travel calls, and sometimes even on close OOB calls.

I think that I do this because the play surprises me. Something happens fast and it catches me by surprise and I tweet-tweet-tweet!!

Starting tonight (HS boys V), I'm going to wean myself from the multiple tweet syndrome (MTS). I hate that I let that creep into my game to that degree.

Just sharing.

Chuck, I share some of yoursame tendancies, and often make mental note to correct them. However, when I see those whistle dynamics in others, I often appreciate them for what they are. EMPHASIS. What irks me more are weak toots, almost inaudible, and with little character.
Let's take up the cause for multiple tweeting! hehehe

I originally began doing it for emphasis, as I said. But now it's become a lazy habit. I think it's become ingrained partly due to the fact that I also officiate lacrosse where MTS is acceptable.
