What we need is more federal guidance in the selection of cheerleaders. Perhaps something like No Cheerleader Left Behind.

A cheerleader without a left behind would look pretty odd...

Well, Mommy Wysenda and daughter Wycoda probably figured.....wynota.

What next? Maybe Old School suing somebody to become a real official? Chuck suing somebody to be tall-er? The Cubs suing somebody to win a World Series?

Exclamation

On a similar note, the University of Oregon announced yesterday they were adding a "competitive" cheerleading squad because then they would be allowed by the NCAA to offer scholarships. They also announced they were dropping the school's wrestling program. Apparently, the two actions are not related. Yeah....sure. Title IX rides again.

Oh yeah - the U of O is now going to bring back its defunct baseball program. Ya' don't think the fact that Oregon State just won back-to-back college championships in that sport has anything to do with it, do ya'?

Alumni bragging rights and dollars are at stake after all.

Hey, I've got my firm, Dewey, Cheatam, and Howe, looking into that right now.

I'm not gettin' any younger, you know.

For that youthful look, let me recommend this.....

Be very careful. In your case, overuse could make your head disappear.

What kind of cheerleading team has a constitution?

How many cheerleaders even know how to spell "constitution?"

My HS cheerleading team suffered from constitution. I think they took a laxative. That's where the expression "GO TEAM GO" comes from.

"The school district nor the superintendent has offered a satisfactory explanation as to why Wycoda was singled out," said Duke. "We have no other option but to move forward with the lawsuit."

The explanation was a pretty good one to me. I guess sometimes the truth just isn't "satisfactory".

Your best option is to save your money on this lawsuit.

Frankly, I hope this lawsuit costs the parents every cent they might have saved for her college tuition for something so stupid. Can you say "Wycoda wasn't good enough?"

That's a real shame. I think it's time we ended women's suffrage.

Does that mean you're entering the priesthood?
