Jim -- See this is where the kid's talent came from; as to where Mark's talent went, no one has a clue...

Also, it's interesting to note that at the bottom of this page, where the website lists "similar posts" all but one of the "bragging" posts are about Tyler........ not that there's anything wrong with that...

Medicinal side-effects?

Of course, that's assuming there was talent in the first place... ;)

Hey - I'm really good at doing the Jumble puzzle in the paper every day! :)

Tyler's 13th birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I was going to get him a gift card to a sporting goods store, but my daughter said he is really interested in getting some "cool" clothes for going back to school. I guess teenagers have their priorities. So....Abercrombie and Fitch it is.

BTW - I bought a black Fox 40 for my granddaughter and they had a matching black "fashion" lanyard, so I got that. It's much thicker than a regular neck lanyard and is has a twist in it so it lays flat against the body. She'll love it. Oh yeah - it has a velcro closure and is adjustable.

Follow-up: Tyler's team lost their final game in the tournament, 8-5. He went 2 for 3 with two doubles and a walk. He had two RBIs. In the tourney (four games) he went 10 for 15 with four homers and 12 RBIs. The walk he had in the last game was intentional and was the only time he walked in the tourney. His team committed a total of seven errors and he had none of them.

Oh yeah, he had seconds for dessert at the banquet. :D
