I would never read someone the riot act over this, especially in a 9th grade game. My personal feeling, without seeing the actual play, is that I'd have double technicals, but not flagrant. If you saw it differently -- since you were there -- I have no problem with it.

Ok, I've been away from the board for a couple weeks, so maybe I'm missing something, but is this a joke? There is no 4.2.1 and 3.5 SITUATION A still clearly states that metal or hard casts on the hand or elbow "shall always be declared illegal".

Is the joke on me?

Methinks they were discussing that "football" that Mr. David Beckham plays.

Reading is fundamental.

Nevada was responding to an MTD Sr. post about soccer by citing the relevant soccer rule.

The only one that was confused was Skippy. That's really nothing new.

And maybe Old School, but that's got nothing to do with this thread.

Beckham? I think I've heard of him. Isn't his wife starring in the TV version of the old Eddie Murphy movie, "Coming to America."

Well, it used to be.

Then some guy named "Chuck" made a baseball thread.

Been downhill ever since.

fighting?

The rules were expanded,so we as officials could act before a fight occurs, that`s why we enforce "taunting",I think he got read the "riot act" because #1 his mentor/evaluator,wasn`t conferenced with first,

#2 He didn`t act quickley, and was embarrassed.(mentor)
