It would be a smart move for Coach Donovan.

Sports is totally a "what have you done for me lately" environment.

There is nowhere to go but down after 2 straight championships. At some point, Florida will have a couple down seasons and fans will be saying that the game has passed him by. Think of all the coaches who overstayed their welcome.

Get out while the demand is high and make your money and before you are pushed out the door.

Not to mention the fact that his entire starting line-up is graduating (or at least out of eligibility, I think) so they're probably not gonna be that good this next season - good time to move on...

Not to mention that it's $27.5 million over 5 years.

Holy crap...to be a coach that no one will listen to during time-outs anyway??? I'd take it...kind of reminds me of the Spinks/Tyson fight back in the late 80's. The one that only lasted long enough for Tyson to land three punches and Spinks earned something like 7 million - came out to 2.333 million per punch taken...
