Pants: What brand do you wear?

How are they holding up?

Anyone out there just buying black pants at the mall? what brand?

Belt: Do you wear a belt ot use sansabelt?

Anyone out there build like a football player that has found the pants to be too small in the quad area? If so, what brand do you use. (Hint: I'm 6'4", 275-280...not fat but certainly not missing meals). I have a pair that are tight in the leg, ok in the ARSE but almost look like bell bottoms on the bottom and I'm tired of taking SH%T from my wife not to mention having to tell her to...."QUIT STARING AT MY PANTS"!

For you old guys (Padgett and Jurassic)...the bell bottoms may bring back more 60's memories!

Larks,

To answer your question, I prefer the Haggar expandamatic beltless pants. I can usually find them at Haggar outlet stores for about $30 a pair, which is much cheaper than the pants sold by the officiating supply vendors.

These pants hold up fine. Even washing them after each game (which seems unusual, since I only take my bath on the traditional Saturday night plan), they will last several seasons.

I prefer no pleats, but it is the coming trend.

As I've mentioned before, I wear these and buy them through the JCPenney catalog. You get a deal if you buy two pair.

BTW Larks, it could be worse. Your wife could stare at your shoes and puke on your pants.

Actually, I wish my wife would stare at my pants once in a while.

Don't know the name brand, but I ordered mine (sansabelt and pleated) from Honig. They seem to be cut a little larger in the "arse" and fit fine. BTW, I am 6'6" and about 235-240. In some pants, I can wear a 38" waist, but these were 40" and had to be taken in about an inch. I have 3 pair and wash them in cold water after each use. They seem to be holding up fine -- although it is early in the season. One of these 3 was used last season.

I started wearing the pleated pants two years ago, and now rarely wear the regular western pocket type. Previously, like BigWhistle, I didn't think I would like the pleats. Boy, was I wrong. There's much more room in the seat and upper legs, which make them 100% more comfortable. With your size, Larks, I would recommend them.

I also decided to try the pleats from Honigs and now I won't go back to the western cut. They are the most comfortable pants I have ever owned. Treat yourself to 1st class!

First, click the "quote" button at the bottom of the post .

Then, make sure whatever you want to write is outside of the brackets with "QUOTE" and "/QUOTE."
