Pleated pants? Sorry...a big no no!

Mesh shirt? Is the whole crew wearing them? Otherwise...tacky! (Even then...tacky)

I prefer Sansbelt pants...no belt...V neck polyester shirt.
Nice polished black shoes...no fake shiny shoes.

There's nothing wrong with pleated slacks. Hey, some places still allow officials to wear a belt. YUCK!

Nothing looks better on shoes than Leather Luster.

We're in the 22nd centruy Rookie!

Mesh shirts and pleated pants for me.

I don't see how they look tacky? You really cannot tell it is mesh unless you are right next to me.

Plus - I have had just as many compliments on the shirts as my shoes this year.

Leather Luster rules.

Personally don't like the pleated pants. I got into this a little late this year and could not find black beltless pants in my size that fit comfortably and stayed in place while running (actually I did, but did not want to pay that much). This year I am wearing a belt. Next year I plan to go beltless.

V neck polyester shirt. I think the look better.

I think the pleats look better; however, not to many officials have them, so I always carry my non-pleats w/ me. I think it looks better if all the officials look the same.

As for the mesh shirts, sit in the stands once and look at two officials standing next to each other--one with mesh and one without. The one without the mesh appears to be a little more white. Just a thought...

I just finished with my third coat of leather luster last night, and plan to wear my "new" shoes for the first time tonight. This Leather Luster stuff is absolutely great. It's hell on the hands puttin' it on, but it looks great when it's finished and shined up!

Wore beltless pleated pants for the first time in a game on Monday. Absolutely loved them! All of my suits have pleated pants (although last year we went business casual at work and my dockers are pleated). My first couple of years I used belted slacks and forgot the belt at least once, so I changed to beltless sansabelt and still have a couple of pairs of these. I like them also, but now prefer the pleated pants. Haven't used the mesh shirts but know several of our officials like them. I usually go with the Cliff Keene shirts because I can get the XL long bodies (I am 6'6" with a long torso - counteracts my short memory).

Personally, I don't like the way the pleated pants look. Just a matter of taste, but I like the non-pleated Sansabelts best. I haven't tried Leather Luster, but I will look into it for the season.

Pleated pants, either kind of shirt and high gloss shoes. In fact, I got a compliment on my shoes on Wed from a kid in the stands. "There's a guy who takes pride in his shoes."

I love the pleated pants. In fact I will not go back to the others. College has moved to them in my state with the Mountain West. They actually look better and give you more movement. Although if you are heavy it makes you look even heavier. I think that they develovoped the original sansabelt pants for those refs who don't know when to say no to the next doughnut. Also I do agree that the mesh shirt doesn't look as crisp as the cotton or poly, although it is cooler.

I Second the Motion on LeatherLuster

I put a good coat on my shoes almost exactly one year ago. Approximately 150 games later, my shoes still look great. An occassional damp rag is all the maintenance that is required. The product is highly recommended, folks. Website is http://www.leatherluster.com. Company is somewhere in Virginia, as I recall.

Paint thinner will remove it. To be quite honest, I think it is paint.
