Think of all the times that at the end of a period when you see the kid roll the ball down the floor with the clock stopped in order to save clock time. The player who rolled it inbounds does not wait out of bounds 30-40 feet behind the play waiting for his teammate to touch the ball. It is definitely not a violation. |

Since most HS officials have just taken or will be taking NSFA test it would be wise to know regulations of a throw in and when a throw in ends.
Once the ball leaves the thrower's hands he/she may enter the court.

Think about this situation:
The thrower steps in and then steps back before making the throw. The thrower then makes a inbounding pass. Violation or not?
