Some might find this understandable. Some of your friends might enjoy this CD

So just for the fun of it, I ventured over to the baseball thread and read a few of the threads there...sheesh - CoachJinx is an idiot over there too, and they have some kid from Canada who is a raving lunatic - not going back there anytime soon!

Here's an interesting article:

No good deed goes unpunished. I wonder if Hunter will get suspended for the minimum 3 years?

(PS - It's kind of a short article, in keeping with the theme of the thread.)

You forgot to say that some might enjoy it.

Anyway 4 bottles of champagne won't go very far among 25 players + coaches + press + publicists/agents + amphetimine , HGH and steroid salespeople.

roflmao -- jesus christ that was good -- joke of the week

besides I love what rules sports chose to try to appear to enforce and what they blatantly try to ignore.

but Dan not to take away from your post -- if I was drinking anything right now it would have been respectfully deposited on my screen.

The Cubbies' Mark Prior is done for the year after shoulder surgery.

All kidding aside, that is a real shame. He was a promising, hopeful staff ace that was derailed by constant injuries.

We now resume our regular dumping on the Cubs.

Just an aside, but wouldn't it be great to bring in a 2nd baseman to lob in pitches for 755 & 756 to truly cheapen the record?

Yea, I saw that too. Actually, the injury that started it had nothing to do with pitching - it was a result of running into one of the Giles brothers on the basepath a few years back. His shoulder has never been the same since.

Interesting idea.

Can you bring in the bullpen catcher...? Prolly not.

Given that it was the KC Royals, maybe they could use some of that champagne to attract better drug dealers.

They can say that, but I still believe that Dusty Baker ruined both Prior and Wood by overpitching them when he was in charge there.

Despite what anyone says, I don't think that he is a quality manager. He sacrificed the future of his players so that he could obtain wins during his tenure and land a large deal for himself.

Sounds right, like Francisco Liriano was abused last year in the Cities.
