8th Grade game, Red team coach is harping on the majority of calls/no-calls (A constant annoynace, but nothing "over-the-line")...
End of game the coach comes to me, with ball in hand, and starts the dialoge, "Excuse me ref, but there is no such thing as a 'carry'". (I made an obvious "carry call" on his player late in the game.) I was so dumbfounded at his ignorance that all I could respond with was, "Check your rulebook coach". BTW: His team won 49-16. Isn't this fun!?
