I prefer to go with; "shooter", "thrower", "#_____", "ladies" or "gentlemen". I think it's good to be especially careful when referring to female players

i like to use "woman" seems to get some respect by how the jaws fly open when i say "Lets go woman hurry and sub in."

"Wenches" works pretty well for me.
